Last concerts

De siste konsertene har vært med studenter og kolleger ved Universitetet i Agder.

New CD is released!

Musikken på CD’en består av:

  1. Dobbel fløytekonsert for to fløytesolister og strykeorkester. Konserten ble innspilt i Poznan våren 2015. Orkesteret, CoOperate Orchestra,  bestod av studenter fra the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music Academy of Poznań og Universitetet I Agder. Solister var Tora Røstvik og Katarzyna Kamiska. Dirigent: Adam Domurat.
  2. Dances , en suite i 7 satser for 4 fløyter, 2 alt fløyter, 2 (1) bassfløyter og kontrabass. Den ble komponert til Det Norske Fløyteensemble etter forespørsel fra deres initiativtaker og musikalske leder, 1.lektor Jørn Schau ved Universitetet i Agder. Suiten er innspilt av The European Flute Ensemble, som består av 10 profesjonelle fløytister fra Polen, Tyskland og Norge.
  3. Scherzo-Polka, for piccolo, 4 fløyter og altfløyte. Komponert til Europeisk fløytefestival i Polen 2015. Innspilt av The European Flute Ensemble.
  4. 10 Miniatures, for fløyte 1, fløyte 2/piccolo, fløyte 3, altfløyte og bassfløyte. Satsene 1, 3, 5 og 9 er innspilt av The European Flute Ensemble.

The music on the CD consists of:

  1. Double-flute concerto for two flute soloists and string orchestra. The concert was recorded in Poznan in spring 2015. The orchestra, Cooperate Orchestra, consisting of students from the Ignacy Paderewski Jan Music Academy of Poznan and the University of Agder. Soloists were Tora Røstvik and Katarzyna Kamiska. Conductor: Adam Domurat.
  2. Dances, a suite with 7 movements for 4 flutes, 2 alto flutes, 2 (1) bass flute(s) and contrabass. The suite, composed at request from Associate Profes­sor Jørn Schau on behalf of The Norwegian Flute Ensemble, was written in the autumn of 2012. The suite is recorded by the European Flute Ensemble, consisting of 10 professional flutist from Poland, Germany and Norway.
  3. Scherzo-Polka, for piccolo, 4 flutes and alto flute. Composed of European flute festival in Poland 2015. Recorded by The European Flute Ensemble.
  4. 10 Miniatures, for Flute 1, Flute 2 / piccolo, flute 3, alto flute and bass flute. The movements 1, 3, 5 and 9 are recorded by the European Flute Ensemble.

European Flute Ensemble

European Flute Ensemble er et prosjekt-basert ensemble og består av profesjonelle fløytister; orkester-fløytister og professorer i fløyte ved universiteter i fra Norge, Polen og Tyskland. Musikerne for denne innspillingen er satt sammen av Jørn Schau og Ewa Murawska.

European Flute Ensemble is a project based ensemble and consists of flute professionals; orchestral flautists and university flute professors from Norway, Poland and Germany. The musicians for this recording are assembled by Jørn Schau and Ewa Murawska.
